Set in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, The Stables is a 3-bedroomed, detached self-catering cottage, in a delightful rural location, on a small holding in on the East Sussex/Kent border

Located on a seven-acre smallholding, we have a small flock of rare breed Portland sheep, ducks and geese. The Stables has its own secure garden and use of an adjoining paddock with children’s climbing frame, swings and slides.

This cosy stable conversion is adjacent to the privately owned Knowle Grange Health Club www.knowlegrange.co.uk, with spa, gym and heated outdoor pool that is open 12 months a year. We can pre arrange weekly adult membership, individual health and beauty treatments or even a personal trainer.

Our own heated 32’ pool, is usually open from late April to early October, may be used by holidaymakers by private arrangement on weekdays.

Well-behaved pets are welcomed by pre arrangement.

No smoking indoors please.

We provide a welcome pack (of tea, coffee, bread, butter and milk) on arrival and can arrange to have a curry, meat or shepherd’s pie in the oven. With a bit of notice we will shop for groceries.

Change over day is Friday. Check out 10am. Check in 4pm. There may be some flexibility depending on other bookings.

Prices range from £650 to £1950 per week, according to season.

Available on a weekly basis.

There is a full information pack in the cottage and we are happy to recommend pubs, restaurants, cycle routes, walks and visitor attractions. With two boys of school age, we have personal experience of much of what the area has to offer – but the is a seemingly endless list of new places to explore.
