Location
Wadhurst Station, with direct services from London (Charing Cross, Waterloo and London Bridge), is two miles down the road. The historic spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is only 4 miles away. There is no taxi rank at Wadhurst, so cabs need to be booked in advance. We may be able to pick you up ourselves in our 8-seater Toyota Land Cruiser.
Frant has two good pubs, a village green with children’s play area, a post office and shop. Wadhurst offers a wide range of facilities: post office, banks, doctors’ surgery, an excellent selection of shops, several pubs, an office licence, Indian restaurant, library, hairdressers and a church.
Sussex Weald. The surrounding area provides a whole raft of activities and attractions for visitors – cycling, sailing, canoeing and fishing at the Bewl Water Outdoor Centre as well as golf courses at Dale Hill (Ian Woosnam designed course) and Lamberhurst. The area is steeped in history and rich in castles, stately homes and gardens
